Ways To Pay My Rent

Did you know that there are lots of different ways that you can pay your rent, resident charge and other charges that you are responsible for? It is easy to change your payment method if you are not happy with how you currently make payments - just speak to your Housing Management Officer. Your options include:

Direct Debit

Payments can be made directly from your bank on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Contact your Housing Officer for a direct debit mandate form. All tenants paying by Direct Debit are also entered into a quarterly prize draw.
Plus Points: You can set up payments at a frequency and time that suits you. If the amount you need to pay changes, NCHA can automatically adjust your payments.

Swipe Card

You can use swipe cards to make payments at PayPoint, the Post Office and e-Pay outlets. To find your nearest PayPoint or Post Office outlet please visit www.allpay.net/outlets
Plus Points: You can pay when and where it is convenient for you. You can pay by cash or cheque and there is no minimum payment amount.

Online Payments

Log on to www.allpayments.net and follow the on-screen instructions.

Third Party Deductions

If you are in receipt of certain welfare benefits, you can request that your charges are paid directly to NCHA from your benefit payments.
Plus Points: This is especially useful if you find it hard to budget, or often forget to make payments.

Telephone

You can pay over the telephone using two methods
  • Callpay: 0845 650 1202 (HPM Team Admin 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday)
Phone your regional office during office hours and make payments over the phone using your debit or credit card.
Plus Points: You can make payments from the comfort of your own home and they will be processed by a member of the HPM Team.

  • AllPay: 0844 557 8321 (24 hours)
You can pay over the phone 24 hours a day with a credit or debit card. Simply enter your swipe card number and credit/debit card details and you will then be asked to enter the amount you want to pay onto the keypad on your phone.

Text Message

Text Payments from AllPay is a secure SMS text message rent payment option, giving you even more flexibility in the way you pay your rent.

How it works…

To begin texting rent payments, you simply need a UK-registered mobile phone, a valid AllPay swipe card and a current debit or credit card (debit card preferred).

After a very brief registration online at www.allpayments.net/textpay you can pay your rent anytime, anyplace, anywhere – quite literally!

You text a simple code and the amount you wish to pay to a designated number every time you want to make a payment.

This service works alongside all other payment methods from AllPay and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Please contact your Housing Management Officer if you want any further information on these payment methods, if you would like to discuss your payments or set up a payment plan. Contact the HPM Team on 0845 650 1202.
