New mental health helpline for Nottingham

NCHA's new mental health helpline is a new specialist service developed to meet the needs of people living within Nottingham city.

The service will provide a listening ear, emotional support, signposting and referrals onto other services for individuals and the carers of people experiencing mental distress.

This new services offers the following support:

  • Specialist referral to partners within the Mental Health Pathway

  • Person centred support planning to move thorugh the Mental Health Pathway

  • Joint assessments with other organisations, so you won't be constantly filling in paperwork

  • Access to culturally specific support

  • Help in establishing and maintaining contact with other organisations

  • Direct links with NHS Direct

The service is open to people who live in Nottingham city, or who are registered with a GP in Nottingham city. The service operates from 5pm - 9am Monday to Friday, and 24 hours a day at weekends and bank holidays.
