George Hythe House has a makeover

Residents of George Hythe House, Leicester are now enjoying the benefits of a makeover to the property – both inside and out.

George Hythe House has a vibrant and friendly care team who work hard to create a warm and welcoming home for everyone. To support this, all of the communal areas in the building have recently been decorated taking into account the needs of an older person.

Thanks to a grant for lighting the corridors and lounges are brighter and more energy efficient. Contrasting colours have been used between walls, furniture fixtures and fittings to highlight important areas for residents, such as grab rails in stairways. This approach helps residents navigate back to their rooms more easily. more
